GRADING/LEVELING PROCESS

Site Analysis

Every successful project begins with data. We use high-precision laser transit levels to map the existing "shot" of your yard. We identify the high and low points to calculate exactly how much fill or excavation is required to achieve a perfect 2% grade away from your foundation.
Vegetation Removal

We clear the site of "soft" organic material—grass, roots, and debris—that causes settling over time. Using professional-grade skid steers and excavators, we strip the area down to a "virgin" subgrade, ensuring your new hardscape or turf is sitting on a solid, non-organic base.
Precision Rough Grading

This is where our highway experience shines. We shape the land to create "swales" and slopes that direct water toward catch basins or away from your home. If your project requires a French Drain or dry creek bed, we integrate those systems into the rough grade to ensure seamless water management.
Final Grade & Seed/Sod Preparation

The final "finish" grade is smoothed to a golf-course quality finish. We apply high-quality screened topsoil and prepare the surface for sod, seed, or pavers. The result is a perfectly leveled yard that looks as good as it drains.
