Our founder, Alejandro, spent years in the high-stakes world of highway-heavy construction, working on elite mass grading crews. In that environment, "close enough" isn't an option. Alejandro recognized a significant gap in the residential market: while many companies could make a yard look "pretty," few understood the engineering required to make it last. He saw homeowners in the West Metro struggling with shifting patios and soggy basements caused by improper grading and poor drainage planning.
J & Sons was established to bring that "highway-heavy" expertise to your backyard. We shifted our focus from massive infrastructure projects to the homes of Minnetonka, Wayzata, and the West Metro, applying industrial-grade standards to every paver we set and every drainage pipe we lay.
